Services at Our Richmond Heights Animal Hospital
We at Richman Animal Clinic are proud to say that we are the original and only animal hospital in the Northeast Ohio area from Willoughby Hills to Lyndhurst and beyond to use a Class IV Therapeutic Laser. This technology is used for a wide range of applications, including hip dysplasia, arthritis, anal sac problems, resistant ear infections, hotspots, wounds, trauma, and tendon/ligament injuries. It has proven to be incredibly effective for a variety of anti-inflammatory, pain relief and accelerated healing applications at our animal hospital.
Our team of veterinary professionals also provides routine examinations, pet vaccinations, medicine and surgical procedures. Our animal hospital has consistently kept up to date with the latest equipment, procedures and guidelines in the veterinarian profession. From standard spay and neuter procedures, to stem cell therapy, our animal hospital employs advanced and cutting edge procedures and equipment. This includes the latest in animal hospital diagnostic equipment such as X-Rays, microscopes and bloodwork lab equipment. All of our equipment is “In House,” which means that we do not have to wait on outside labs to get your test results. We can also monitor your pet while under anesthesia and during surgeries. We are able to keep constant tabs on your pet’s body temperature, respiratory rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation and EKGs to ensure that your pet is completely safe until the procedure is over and the anesthesia wears off. We provide top quality routine and emergency surgeries, such as pet spay and neuter, declawing, ear cropping, removing tumors and bladder, intestinal and stomach surgeries at our animal hospital. No surgery is truly “routine,” but our veterinarian’s experience and knowledge ensures a minimal risk of complications and a maximum chance of success.
Our animal hospital’s policy on ear cropping is that we perform this surgery on Bouviers, Great Danes, Schnauzers, Dobermans and Boxers between 8 to 10 weeks old.
The dental procedures at our animal clinic are also performed by highly trained veterinary professionals with the most up to date tools and techniques. Besides routine cleanings, we also provide extractions on a routine basis. Again, we at our animal hospital understand that no surgical procedure is routine for you and your pet, but you can take complete confidence in our ability to perform these procedures properly.
We also provide boarding (only for dogs and cats), wellness and preventative medicine, nutritional and dietary counseling, senior pet health care, regular health exams, regenerative stem cell therapy (certified 11/08), microchipping using Home Again microchips and pre-purchasing counseling to help you choose the right pet for you and your family.
These are just a few of the services our animal clinic provides for our clients in Richmond Heights, Gates Mills, Lyndhurst, Beachwood, Highland Heights, Euclid suburbs, Wickliffe, Willowick, Willoughby, Willoughby Hills, Kirtland, Eastlake and Mentor.
